Ten Tips for Long, Healthy Hair

These are my tips for getting longer, healthier hair:

.) Don't wash your hair every day if you can help it. Skip a day every now and then because shampoo can be very drying on your hair. Your natural oils will do your hair some good.
.) Worry more about distributing the conditioner through your hair instead of how long you leave it on for.
.) Comb out tangles while the conditioner is in your hair. It works as a detangler so you don't damage your hair trying to get out tangles.
.) Let your hair air dry when your not in a rush or use the blow dryer on a cool setting.
.) Use a heat protecting spray when you style your hair. Sometimes, I will spray it on just the ends of my hair. Tresemme, Chi, Suave, and Pantene are only a few of the brands who make one.
.) When your brush your hair start at the ends and work your way up. Don't just rip through your hair or you may damage it where it is tangled.
.) Get rid of your dead ends! If your hair is damaged on the end it will continue to break off, and you will never gain any length. Trim your hair every 6-10 weeks.
.) Don't sleep with your hair in a ponytail. It can damage your hair.
.) Work with your natural hairstyle once in awhile. I always play up my natural wavy hair.
.) Never brush, straighten, or curl your hair when its wet. It damages your hair!
