My first step is always a clear coat to protect my nails. Second, I used China Glaze in Spontaneous to tip my nails. (Advice: To get professional looking tips, lay your hand on a flat surface, and position the brush at the tip of your nails. Instead of moving the brush, move your finger in the direction you want the polish.) Then I made four white dots in a circle for the petals. I used the Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in white to do this. It is like a marker so it saves time. You could also use the tip of a bobby pin and dip it in a color to create petals. Finally, I used China Glaze in Solar Power to creat the center of the flower.

Very Simple Flower Nails!
This was kind of a rush design! I hate naked nails, and I had to leave soon so I made it as easy as possible.

Outfit of the Day!
Today I went for a look that was sweet and simple. I was having dinner with my family. I got my navy dress from American Eagle, and I wore a white lace tank top underneath. I have to keep it classy with my family haha.
This is a very old necklace. I got it from the sweetest old man. I love all the little details and the pretty rose painted in the center. On the other side is a clock.
I got these wedges from Kohls. They are covered in blue, white, and gray flowers.

Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner!
I use a lot of heat products, and I end up with dry, damaged hair if I don't take care of it. I want my hair to look and feel healthy! I have used a lot of shampoos and conditioners, but I never bought the same thing twice! I have dry, wavy hair that can be a little hard to manage, and they never did anything special. I always knew there was something better out there! (I have the same issues with mascaras! Ha.) Most shampoos are very drying, but after using these my hair feels super moisturized! I always leave my conditioner in for a few minutes and afterwords my hair feels like silk. It definitely hydrates, and it smells wonderful. I feel like it makes my hair more manageable and controls the frizz that comes with dryness. I am a sucker for packaging too! Anyway, I have finally found something I can stick with! I always pick up the value bundle from Walmart for only $9.50. It comes with the shampoo and conditioner in 23.7 fl oz bottles.

Braided Headband!
Another effortless hairstyle! I had people asking me all day if the braid was my real hair. Haha.
This is my secret! First, I gather up a small section of hair to form the braid. I always pull from the underneath layers so the beginning of the braid doesn't show. Next, I'll comb the small section of hair in the direction the braid will lay. While I am braiding it, I keep it pulled across my forehead in that direction. If you braid it and then try to pull it across your head, it wont lay flat. Finally, I will pull up my top layer of hair on the other side and clip the end of the braid underneath. Easy!

Another wearable candy makeup! This is my third one. I have already done bubble gum and chocolate. I'm saving up for a new camera. My very vibrant makeup never gets picked up by my current one! Bear with me until then!

Purr by Katy Perry
I am a committed drug store junkie. I am a college student. I don't splurge often, but I can't stand cheap perfume. I'm not a fan of body sprays you pick up in the large plastic spray bottles (Sorry, Bath and Body Works!). In high school I would us the shower gel, lotion, and perfume. They all smelt beautiful... for about fifteen minutes. No one ever complimented me on how I smelled or even noticed. Now I have a few favorite perfumes, and it only takes a few sprays to smell good all day long. Anyway, I am a huge Katy Perry fan. When I heard she was coming out with a perfume, I knew it was going to be interesting and unique. I was right! I really love it. It doesn't just smell flowery, sweat, or fruity. It is a really fun mix that works! The smells aren't competing with each other. I get tons of compliments. The packaging is almost irresistible alone!
Here is the description:
Purr by Katy Perry eau de parfum begins with the aroma of peach nectar and forbidden apple, evolves with a distinct floral bouquet of jasmine blossom, Bulgarian rose and vanilla orchid, and slowly reveals accents of creamy sandalwood and musk. Like the singer herself, Purr is playful yet sophisticated. Katy Perry transcends barriers with her music—so does her new fragrance.
You can pick it up from Nordstrom. I picked up the largest size: 3.4 oz, but there is a smaller size: 1.7. It is pricey, but I love quality perfumes! Anyone else splurge for perfumes?

Electric Yellow Zebra Nails!
I love zebra patterns, and this yellow color makes it super fun! I used China Glaze Solar Power for the base coat and a black nail polish with a thin brush for the lines. The really thin brush makes it super easy to make lines.
First, I made a sideways letter V on my nail with the black brush. Next, I made a thin line above the V and bellow it. Finally, I made a line across the top of my nail. Super easy! :)
